A LONG SERVICE LIFE - A DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTE.
Regular visits to service your system are a normal part our customer service support. These enable us to minimize wear and tear and thereby extend the useful working life of your system. Servicing involves a visual inspection of the module field and inverter, cleaning the filters and carrying out any necessary repairs. In addition, we usually carry out a reinspection, as required by law or stipulated by the insurance company, and inspect the electrical installation and lightning protection.
Maintenance intervals depend on location and are agreed upon in advance with the customer. Our solar power plants are normally serviced twice a year.
We recommend that our customers conclude a long-term maintenance contract for 10 or 20 years. This is because of the partly extended intervals between reinspections, which are necessary to enable data to be compared. In addition, from long-term maintenance contracts price advantages may result for our customers: it allows their service engineer to develop an intimate knowledge of their specific installation over a period of years.
